The chimney was taken down today. First I went around the back of the house to take a look and could see a tarp covering where it used to be (seemed strange not seeing a big chimney there).
Then I went I went in the loft to see what it looked like.
Where the chimney was is just a sheet of wood covered in dust and brick chippings, also the whole of the rear roof is now being supported by a temporary wood structure as the chimney was integral in supporting two large beams which hold up this part of the roof.
