The plumber was in today installing a new Worcester Bosch boiler in the kitchen and moving the water pipes in the loft further to one side so they will be in the void space rather than underneath the floorboards.
Also Steve has started work on the structural timber on the opposite site to the steel, he also poked through the ceiling below to mark out where the supporting walls are below in order for the timber to be supported. If I am honest I thought that a steel beam should be used that side as well to support the floor joists rather than wood as there will be a lot of weight on them, but I have been assured it will be ok.
